“Restaurant Kronborg is famous in Italy,” an enthusiastic Italian guest told us the other day.
“Famous” is probably a bit of an exaggeration but the popular Italian food magazine, La Cucina Italiana, recommends a lunch at Restaurant Kronborg in a beautifully lay-outed article about the gastronomic Copenhagen.
The article focuses on the new Nordic kitchen but when you have visited the gourmet restaurants, like Alberto K, Kiin Kiin and Relæ, writes the magazine, “there is no better place to taste smørrebrød, the delicious traditional sandwiches…”
We blush, bow and send our thank yous – and even though the article about the best restaurants in Copenhagen isn’t available online we are happy to recommend a visit to La Cucina Italiana.
Or maybe you prefer to sample the smørrebrød yourself at Restaurant Kronborg.. ?
